Keep your lines above 0.5mm, make sure the background is truly transparent, and clear out any drop shadows, glows or soft edges before uploading. Getting the file right first time matters more from WA than anywhere else, because a reprint means waiting on the freight leg again.

Position, press, peel — about ten seconds a go

Nothing to weed, nothing to cut, no pre-treatment needed.

Pre-press the garment for five seconds first. Humidity is the enemy of adhesion and Brisbane has plenty of it, so this step earns its keep here more than most places. Place the transfer face down, press at 140–150°C for eight to ten seconds at medium to firm pressure, cool for a moment, then peel the film slowly from one corner. Finish with a five-second re-press under parchment or Teflon for a softer finish and a stronger bond.
