DTF vs UV DTF
WHAT'S THE DIFF?
DTF (Direct to Film)
Used for printing on fabrics like t-shirts, hoodies, and bags. Applied with a heat press or iron (140–160°C), it’s soft, stretchy, and built to last. It's soft, flexible, long-wearing, and is best suited for apparel, bags, teamwear and merch.
UV DTF (Ultraviolet Direct to Film)
Printed with UV inks on clear adhesive film, just peel and stick. No heat press needed, and it bonds instantly to hard, non-porous surfaces. It's glossy, slightly raised and best suited for drink bottles, mugs, packaging and signage.
HOW DOES DTF WORK?
1. PRINT YOUR DESIGN
We print your artwork onto a special film using pro-quality inks. The colours sit sharp and vibrant, ready to go.
2. POWDER & CURE
A light adhesive powder is added to the back, then the print is gently heated to lock it all in place.
3. PRESS & PEEL
Place the film onto your garment, heat press it on, then peel the film away. That’s it — a long-lasting print, ready to wear
