Vector files give the crispest result — AI, EPS or PDF — but a PNG at 300 DPI does the job perfectly well. Two things to watch: keep line weights above 0.5mm, and make sure the background is genuinely transparent rather than white. Drop shadows, glows and soft edges don't translate to film, so flatten them out before you upload.

One design? Order it by size — $2.50 for a 5×5cm badge through to $22 for a 30×45cm back print, or set your own dimensions up to 50×50cm. Running a few designs at once? Build a gang sheet from $39.95 and fit sixty-six 8×8cm logos on it, which works out at 37c each. Already laid one out yourself? Upload it as is.

Press like a pro in about ten seconds

No weeding, no cutting, no pre-treatment. Position it, press it, peel it.

Start by pre-pressing the garment for five seconds to drive out wrinkles and moisture — skip this and you'll chase adhesion problems all day. Lay the transfer face down where you want it, then press at 140–150°C with medium to firm pressure for eight to ten seconds. Let it cool for a beat, peel the film back slowly from one corner, and finish with a quick five-second re-press under parchment or Teflon for a softer hand and a stronger bond.

How fast can I get DTF transfers in Melbourne?
